Tradescantia Sillamontana 'White Velvet'

Tradescantia Sillamontana aka white velvet, cobweb spiderwort and tradescantia sillamontana is a perennial evergreen that’s well acquainted to dry areas. Native to northeastern Mexico, its leaves grow in a calculated geometric pattern. This plant has similar qualities to a succulent. In the spring and summer, they bloom with purple flowers. The white wooly hairs protect the plant from the harshness of direct sunlight and evaporation. How cool is that?!
 
Incredibly easy-to-care for and thrive when neglected. So, if you occasionally forget to water your plants, no worries! They’ll do just fine.
